Wiesbaden, Germany

This is one of the favorite places of my life. I loved Wiesbaden and the rest of Germany. I went to high school at General H.H. Arnold High School. We traveled all over the country - to the University at Heidelburg, the Cathedral at Köln (Cologne) and the zoo in Frankfurt, to name a few. I played in a local band called "The Valiants," and the peak of that career was playing at a reception for then President John F. Kennedy at the American Embassy in Bad Godesburg. I went to school with a girl named Priscilla Beaulieu (she later married Elvis Presley) and she, Judy Constock and I ran around together (this was just before her leaving for Graceland). Priscilla, Judy, Dick Dalton, if you ever read this, get in touch with me. The same goes for any other classmates from 1961 to 1963. Just click here to send me e-mail.

The last week for seniors at Wiesbaden High School (officially the General H.H. Arnold High School) was quite intense. We had a Senior Ball which was quite formal, followed in the early morning by a Senior's Breakfast (also formal) and then we all boarded a train for Rome Italy for a week as our Senior Trip. While in Rome, we all had to hock our senior rings to get Dick Dalton (the guy to my right) out of trouble. Seems he wrecked a rented mototscooter in the Circus Maximus late at night. Remember, no motorized vehicles were EVER allowed on the Circus Maximus, so what could we do in the face of such a long standing challenge, but rise to the occasion. It was a fabulous time to be alive.
